JASON THOMAS JOINS AUSX BROADCAST TEAM

We’re thrilled to announce that American Supercross commentator and former pro racer, Jason Thomas, will join our broadcast team for Round 3 of the Australian Supercross Championship, the Wollongong Triple Crown! Known for his years of industry insight and hands-on racing experience, Jason brings both expertise and passion to this exciting event. He spent over a decade as a competitive rider, including racing in Australia, and has since become a highly regarded voice in supercross commentary, valued for his ability to break down the sport for fans of all levels.

Rounds One and Two of the Fox Australian Supercross Championship have recorded the best domestic live broadcast results in over a decade with over 110,000 viewers tuning in to Fox Sports and Kayo for over 4.9 million combined minutes.

The result solidifies a resurgence in the championship, following a sellout crowd for round one in Kayo Stadium, Redcliffe and almost 17,000 combined attendees across the two days. Further broadcast information regarding international viewers is still to be finalised however will greatly increase the results, with millions having the opportunity to tune in.

An improvement in broadcast quality, further bolstered some fantastic bar to bar racing and now, the addition of one of the most recognises faces in international supercross and motocross broadcasting, Jason Thomas, aims to ensure the upward trend continues in WIN Stadium, Wollongong this weekend.

Fans can expect truly world-class coverage as Jason joins the experienced Danny Ham and trackside reporter Trent Maher, to deliver all the action, drama, and insights from round three.
